My name is Srisamon Toomnok. I am the seventh youngest child in a family of eight. I was raised on a humble rice-paddy farm in northern Thailand, near the border of Laos. When I was 14 years old I moved to Bangkok to live with my older sister and to continue my education. In time, I followed the way of my older brother and sisters as a student of Thai Massage, then later as a master instructor at the Wat Po School of Traditional Thai Medicine.

The Wat Po School of Traditional Thai Medicine is world-renown and serves students and patients from Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Australia and North America. It is the largest, most prestigious and oldest school in Thailand. Including myself, four of my Toomnok sisters and my brother have worked as Thai Massage master instructors at the Wat Po School.

My brother, Phongthep, is a Master Instructor and Healer in Brunei. My sister, Sunet, returned from three months in Germany, teaching students on traditional Thai Massage healing methods and is currently teaching and healing in Los Angeles. My sister Sunee was recently in Hong Kong and Taiwan teaching Thai Massage techniques to students and conducting personal healing sessions with prestigious clients.

The art and science of Authentic Thai Massage draws it’s origins from over 2,000 years of healing practices. Thai massage therapy is the traditional manner in which the Thai people received healthcare long before the advent of modern-day medicine. It is therapeutic and invigorating and can be best described as a combination of acupressure, deep muscle massage, stretching and joint manipulation. A Master Healer like myself, has learned the techniques of intuitive touch awareness, whereby I can “feel” or “sense” what needs to be uniquely addressed in each patient, in order to initiate the healing process in the body, from head to toe. Your personal experience is unique to what your body currently requires, which is what makes Authentic Thai Massage very different from any other massage therapies in the western world. Arguably, I am from the most famous family of Authentic Thai Massage instructors. I personally offer to my clients more than 20 years of experience, practicing in both Thailand and North America.
